Frequently asked questions

Are you an internet or electricity provider?

No. We're an independent dealer. We help you compare and sign up with the providers that serve your address, and your service and billing come directly from the provider you pick.

What do you charge for your help?

Nothing. Our help is free. When you sign up, the provider you chose pays us a commission, and your service and bill come directly from that provider.

Do I need a Social Security number?

It depends on the provider. Some offer other ways to verify your identity or may require a deposit. Tell us about your situation and we'll go over your options.

What is fiber, and why do you recommend it?

Fiber internet runs on fiber-optic lines instead of copper. It's typically more reliable and offers matching upload and download speeds, which makes a real difference for video calls and gaming. It's not available everywhere, but we'll let you know if it reaches your home.

Why can I choose my electricity provider in Texas?

Much of Texas has a deregulated electricity market. Your local utility maintains the power lines, but you choose who you buy electricity from. Give us your ZIP code and we'll tell you if that applies to you.

How soon can my internet be installed?

It depends on the provider and your address. We'll share available installation dates when we place your order.

Questions? One call is all it takes.

We'll tell you what's available at your address and walk you through your options. No cost, no strings attached.
